The cool thing is that, since e-ink display keep showing information even when they're turned off, Mirtillo always shows the clock, even when I'm not using it. I made it so that it turns on every few minutes to update the number and then it turns off again. This way the battery lasts a few days, which is still not as good as I'd like it to be (it should be weeks... ) but it's a great start.
